DJI, a drone and camera tech company has revealed its latest in mobile phone stabilisation, perfect for budding photographers, YouTube creators or just people that want a stable video when walking around.
The DJI OM 4 is a portable, easy to use phone stabiliser with a handy magnetic mount or magnetic clamp that attaches to your phone. A secure, lightweight metal clamp connects to the back of your phone and remain fixed to it during daily use quick to attach to the stabiliser. A second option removes the need for the clamp entirely by having a round magnetic mount with ring holder onto the back of your phone allowing snapping onto the OM4 even easier.
With phones getting larger and heavier with each generation, the OM4 now has larger motors so it can support these heavier weights. Anything larger than a smartphone, the DJI RONIN SC has you covered. It can carry up to 2kg of equipment.
As with previous DJI OM generations, the OM 4 comes with a flurry of modes to allow for some seamlessly smooth footage capture such as Active Track, Clone Me Pano, Dynamic Zoom, Gesture Control and others. If you download the Mimo App, the DJI OM 4 also controls the basic camera functions of your smartphone’s native camera app with the option of more advanced functions depending on the type of phone.
