Morgan is a company that prides itself on using old methods. Wood and metal. Man and machine working together to create cars that are a little bonkers and absolutely fun to drive.
The three-wheeler was reintroduced in 2011 and is a car I have lusted over since I saw the pictures. Next week, Morgan are to reveal the all-electric version of the three-wheeler. Dubbed the EV3, it will be the second EV ever to be built by Morgan, first being the Plus E which debuted at the Geneva motor show in 2012.
Getting rid of the 2.0 V-Twin engine up front, Morgan has dropped a 102bhp electric motor above the rear wheel getting it to 62 quicker than its heavier and less powerful petrol brother. Range will be approximately 150 miles which should be plenty for most of us.
If you are heading to Goodwood, keep an eye out for it.
