I recently came across a blog somewhat different to most other car blogs. Petrolicious is a blog that elegantly fills the world-wide web with beautifully filmed and edited videos about people who are passionate about the special cars they call their own.
You rarely see modern cars on this blog, it is all about classic cars of all sizes and from all around the world as the website would suggest; “We celebrate the inventions, the personalities, and the aesthetics that ignite our collective lust for great machines. We are fans and fanatics, collectors and racers. We seek to inform, entertain, and inspire our community of aficionados and pique the interest of those who have been missing out.”
Their slogan ‘Take a ride. Entertain your passion. Drive tastefully.’ is something every motoring enthusiast should live by.
All videos I have seen are works of art and balancing shots of the car with the interview with the owner.
the all time favourites from this blog which I hope they won’t mind me sharing are:
A Ferrari Lusso 250 GT
Jack Olsen‘s 911
Kindred Spirits – VW beetle
